Sensitive data, such as health data or data related to criminal proceedings, may also be included.

As a customer or, more generally, as a data subject, you have the right at any time to obtain information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to rectification, data transmission, objection, restriction of processing and blocking or deletion of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data. Insofar as there are changes to your personal data, we request that you inform us accordingly. You have the right to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Your request for information, deletion, correction, objection and/or data transfer, in the latter case provided that this does not involve a disproportionate effort, can be directed to the address of our company indicated in point 8. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or that your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you have the option of complaining to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the data protection authority is responsible for this.

We process personal data for the purpose of order processing and contract fulfillment or on the basis of your separate consent and in compliance with legal retention periods in compliance with all provisions of the DSGVO.

 

Transmission of data to third parties

Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp from The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA (Mailchimp) to send our newsletter. This allows us to contact subscribers directly. In addition, we analyze your usage behavior in order to optimize our offer.

 

For this purpose, we share the following personal data with Mailchimp:

In addition, Mailchimp collects the following personal data using cookies and other tracking methods: Information about your terminal device (IP address, device information, operating system, browser ID, information about the application you use to read your emails and other information about hardware and internet connection. Mailchimp needs this data to ensure the security and reliability of the systems, compliance with the terms of use and the prevention of abuse. This corresponds to the legitimate interest of Mailchimp (according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) and serves the execution of the contract (according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Furthermore, Mailchimp evaluates performance data, such as the delivery statistics of emails and other communication data. This information is used to create usage and performance statistics of the services.

Disclosure of data mishaps
We strive to ensure that data breaches are identified at an early stage and, if necessary, reported to you or the relevant supervisory authority without delay, including the respective categories of data affected.

 

Retention of data
In accordance with the principle of data minimization, we will not retain data for longer than is necessary to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations. Apart from legal retention periods, personal data will be stored for no longer than is necessary for the fulfillment of the processing purpose or for the collection and defense of legal claims within the meaning of Art. 17 para. 3 lit. e DSGVO.
