About the project

In this living room, Pannonia Green natural stone from Burgenland was used to create a perfect contrast to the brown tones of the wood, both for the fireplace and the worktop. The natural shade of the stone, with its various facets of green and its cloudy to striped structure, has a dynamic effect without being obtrusive. The fireplace has been mitred so that the structure of the stone runs across every corner. This gives the fireplace the appearance of being formed from a single block. The stone is also extremely robust, making it ideal for everyday use in the kitchen.
